Hiking on Pilgrimsleden

I came to Dalsland for the first time in 1980, when I together with a friend from high school went paddling a canoe from Ed. Although Dalsland is famous for its many possibilities of paddling, I already at that time noticed the hiking trail of Pilgrimsleden, which was marked on the map. However, in those years hiking was to me tantamount to Lappland, and later the Alps, so 21 years should pass before I returned to this hiking trail, as in June 2001, I went to Mellerud with Allan to do this Pilgrimsleden trail, having its commencement at Holm church just north of Mellerud.
