| Zinalrothorn is undoubtedly one of the most imposing mountains in Val de Zinal, a remarkable and pointed spire, which you often see when you from Sierre drive up through Val d'Annivers and Val de Zinal en route to Zinal. At several occasions I had made a closer look on this mountain, and when in 1991 I had the opportunity to spend three weeks in Zinal with Christoph, it was obvious that we had to make an attempt on Zinalrothorn. |
