| It was a 25 year old dream which was fulfilled when in June 2008 I finally could leave for Pakistan to try to climb Gasherbrum 2, which was one of the few remaining 8000'ers which had not been climbed by Danes yet. To reach the mountain we first had to travel two days by bus on the Karakoram Highway and one day by jeep before we reached Askole, the starting point for the long trek to Gasherbrum. |
