| By now I had spent about ten days in Colorado, and had already climbed five 14,000ers, mountains higher than 14,000 feet or 4267 metres. However, all of them had been easily accessible, with a path leading all the way to the summit, so now I wanted to make a more challenging climb. My friend Martin shuttled me up a jeep track, and as he couldn't get further I continued on foot alone. |
