| When traveling by train through Martigny or camping the same place, I often have been looking up towards the mountains north of town and wondered, what one might find up there. This had to be looked a little closer upon, and when in October 1998 I had a longer stay in this town, it was time to take a closer look on these mountains. With Allan I took the train to Saxon and ascended from here up through the famous vineyards on the north side of the Rhône valley. |
