| Following our attempt to climb Mount Whitney further south in California Erik and I had now reached Yosemite National Park. It was obvious that we would try to climb one of the mountains here, so we this way could put a Yosemite peak on our list of ascents, and from the start we had thought about climbing the famous Half Dome. But even though this is a beautiful mountain you are not able to see it from the top, so instead we decided to do an attempt on the sister mountain on the opposite side of the valley: North Dome |
