| For many years I had had the plan of doing a long hike up through Sweden, in which I in one stage after the other moved north, with the idea that I maybe one day could reach Treriksröset, so that I at that time would have walked the whole way through Sweden lengthwise. The initial years Allan had joined me on this idea and followed me on the various stages, but as we gradually pushed the stages more and more to the north he assessed that it became too difficult and troublesome for him, so in the end it was clear to me that if I wanted to hike further north it had to be on my own. |
