| In October 2007 I in keeping with tradition participated in the annual General Assembly in UIAA. And to justify using a week of my rare free vacation days on work for the Alpine Club it was just as much keeping with tradition that I briefed myself about life as a mountaineer in this foreign country. And when you talk about mountaineering and Japan you can hardly avoid Mount Fuji, the tallest mountain in Japan. |
