| Actually I have never been a jogger, and maybe I could just run for the bus if I was about to miss it. My past job at the end of the 1980s was to bring out mail in the Northwest district of Copenhagen, and I would say that this gave me enough exercise, but with my increasing activities in the noble sport of mountaineering there would be nothing wrong in improving my fitness a bit. And after I a couple of times had been running with the Sparta group around Bagsværd Lake it appeared logical that I should begin run a bit more, for indoor exercises didn't appeal to me. More wants more, with the result that I on the 30.09.1990 completed my first marathon in Berlin. |
