| In 2006 I had travelled with my running mate Martin to Colorado, for even though we had a bit different ideas about how we could use three weeks in this interesting state we had agreed on the finishing aim for this trip, it being to participate and finish Pikes Peak Marathon, a marathon race from Manitou Springs to the summit of Pikes Peak and down again. A large part of Colorado is quite high, so while Martin would try to run up on some of the high mountains of this state I was quite content with just ascending them. |
