It will always be an individual assessment, when one wants to put up a list containing the highest summits in the Alps. But the first person claiming to have climbed all summits above 4000 meters in the Alps was the Austrian Karl Blodig, who at the beginning of the 20th century climbed his 59th fourthousander, and his list of summits is the one I have chosen to show below.
